



| Trip ITINERARY
Day 1 | Crisul Repede Nature Reserve Our hardcore caving trip starts in Vantului Cave, the longest cave in Romania, counting over 45 km of galleries, on 4 levels. The cave boasts a great diversity of speleothems, gypsum forms and parietal flowstone.
Days 2 & 3 | Padurea Craiului Mountains Transfer to Rosia area, one of the most attractive limestone areas in The Apuseni Mountains. Ciur-Ponor cave of this plateau shelters the longest underground river from Romania - with waterfalls, imposing chambers, lakes and siphons. Another part of this system is Ciur-Izbuc Cave, an important archeological site, with more than 200 footprints of prehistoric man and bones of Ursus Spaeleus.
Days 4 & 5 | Chiscau Explore another important caving area in The Apuseni Mountains Nature Park, Chiscau village. You will cross it on your way to the famous Bears’ Cave, a show cave with fantastic agglomeration of speological formations and fossils of the cave bear. Visit an unusual local museum and spend an entire day in Micula’s cave, impressively decorated and crossed by a beautiful underground river
Days 6, 7 & 8 | Country of the Motzi Our caving exploration takes us in the Highlands of The Apuseni. Scarisoara Ice Cave, with an ice deposit of 75.000 m3 and strange ice forms, is one of the “local VIPs”. Explore another two caving spots: The Aven of Sesuri, a vertical cave with pits and shafts, calcite flowstone, speleothems, an underground river, and Zgurasti Ice cave, with great lakes and speleothems.
Days 9 & 10 | Country of the Motzi & Oradea Transfer from Garda area to Oradea. Spend some time in the thermal spa near Oradea and later on, discover the beauty of the city by night.
